Please be advised that an update to the Engage Client is required for this release 


Clinical System Integration 

Over the next couple of months, we will be moving our existing settings pages from my.engage.gp into the existing management console which can be found in the Engage Client for this release, we have included the Clinical System Integration toggle as shown in the screen shots below.  By having the correct Clinical System selected this will ensure that any rules defined by your clinical system providers i.e. upload file size etc are honoured within Engage Consult.  Whilst all settings will be migrated across it is probably a good opportunity to ensure that you review the Clinical System, perhaps you have moved providers or had previously selected N/A.





Health Data

Health Data can now be sent out to your patients as an Outbound Patient Message.  Responses to this questionnaire will be coded straight into your clinical - patient BMI can now be obtained by selecting the Weight and Height option as highlighted below.  Both EMIS and TPP calculate BMI when presented with this data.

 



UI/UX

We have made some significant changes to the way the Request page is presented within Engage Consult.  We were mindful that this page was becoming increasingly busy due to the large number of enhancements we have been adding over the last couple of releases.  It would be great to get some feedback on these design changes.



Removal of Reference to "Same Day Response"

To help manage your patients expectations around responses to their requests, we have removed any reference to same day response times in the pop up presented when patient contacts the practice via Engage Consult Out of Hours.


Asthma Control Test 

ACT (Asthma Control Test) is now available independently of the Asthma Review questionnaire and can be sent out to patients as an Outbound Patient Message.  Once completed by the patient this will be coded straight back into the clinical system as a total. 



An oversight on our part was to permit patients to skip the ACT questions in turn resulting in no codes being produced - this option has now been removed.



Engage Toolbar Enhancements 

Outbound patient messaging is now available from the Toolbar, you told us that this would simplify your processes - again, feedback on this would be great and is there anything else you would like to see here.
