Engage Arrive for touchscreens


We're delighted to announce the release of our new look appointment arrival solution for touchscreens - designed to run on any touchscreen device!



Allow your patients to arrive via the touchscreen or their own mobile device by scanning the QR code displayed on the welcome screen. 


Google Translate will provide translation should the patient need it, and the system can direct the patient to the correct waiting area upon successful check-in.



Engage Arrive for a touchscreen is now available with SystmOne, Emis Web and Emis PCS (Vision REST coming very soon!). 


Customers using Emis and SystmOne can be assured that patients with telephone appointments will be directed to reception should they mistakenly arrive at the practice.

Patient Preference


For those of you familiar with our 'Available staff' feature in my.engage.gp, we've moved this setting across into the Management Console and given it a little rework. Enabling this page allows your patients to express a preference for who they would like help from. Don't worry, you are still in control of who their request is assigned to, it simply labels it with their preference for your information. 


You can configure this list with whatever you fancy, it could be a list of clinicians, roles, clinics or organisations. Each preference can be assigned for use with medical consultations, admin queries, or both. The patient will always have the option 'Anyone' though.

Appointment booking links


If you have purchased our appointment booking addon, provided by Hero Health, you can now add appointment booking links to outbound Engage messages (SMS to follow shortly).


The appointment booking link can be tailored for a specific clinician, slot type and expiration and supports cross-organisational booking too.
