New Desktop Client v19.0.0
New Arrive Browser v1.1.3
Engage Consult accounts
To keep our servers in optimal, speedy condition, we've removed some old, dormant Engage Consult accounts and implemented a system to regularly remove accounts that've not been used for more than a year. The user will receive an email notifying them that their account is due to be deleted; they can prevent this action simply by logging in.
Engage Client
We've given the Engage Client login page a little love, adding a handy link to download the desktop client, should you need it.
We've also fixed an issue that prevented a user from activating their account if they hadn't done so in the specified time frame. The system will now send another email allowing them to do this.
Engage Arrive
Health pod integration
We've completed the health pod integration, allowing your patients to input their height and weight when arriving for an appointment. The readings will be added directly to the patient's clinical record, ready for review in their appointment.
Online consultations
Appointment allocation
EMIS PCS users are now able to allocate an appointment when sending the patient/proxy a message in response to a request.
Engage toolbar
Customers using EMIS Web reported the toolbar being slow to load the patient currently open within EMIS. You'll be pleased to know that we've made a change so that the toolbar always preloads this patient, which will hopefully speed things up.
Messaging
SMS Sender ID
By default, when you send your patients an SMS, they receive the SMS from 'YourGP':
You can now change this, should you want to, in Organisation settings in the Management Console (in Advanced).
Questionnaire responses
You pointed out that questionnaire responses were not always displayed clearly in the patients' records. We've made a change so that they always display in the same format:
Question: {question here}
Answer: {answer here}
-
Question: {question here}
Answer: {answer here}
We hope that helps.
Bug fixes
- Questionnaires accessed via the touchscreen were being recorded to EMIS twice
- New message notifications displaying in the Engage Consult app when logged out
- Engage Arrive on a touchscreen occasionally freezing
- Outbound message log always stated that patient was allowed to reply when sometimes they were not
