As requested, we've added an auto-refresh on the list of outbound messages. It will now reload the list every minute. You're welcome ;-).

For those using our Hero appointment booking integration, we've made a few improvements...


  • We've changed the appointment type field to multi-select
  • We've introduced checkboxes to make it easier for you to select multiple clinicians
  • You can now see the number of slots available when you create a booking link

Announcing a new feature!


Live for SystmOne and EMIS PCS - coming soon for EMIS Web


You can now automatically invite any patient who has had an appointment to complete the Friends and Test. You choose how they should be invited: email or SMS. However, we'll send the invite to the NHS App wherever possible, utilising free push notifications.


You can enable this feature in Friends & Family Test in the Management Console:



To keep it nice and tidy, we've moved the settings that allow you to send the Friends and Family Test following an online consultation here too.


Engage Arrive


New patient identification method


We received feedback that some patients, using Engage Arrive on a touchscreen, have been struggling with the screen that asks them to input the first letter of their last name - you now have the option to ask them for their year of birth instead:




NHS 111 links


Patients being presented with NHS111 links anywhere in our solution will now be directed to the correct nation's NHS 111 website, dependent on the location of their practice.


Bug fixes


  • Some patients were intermittently unable to log into their Engage Consult account
  • Location filters set in Engage Arrive for customers using EMIS PCS were preventing all patients from checking in
  • There was an issue affecting patients with multiple accounts who had merged their NHS login
  • A few minor issues seen in our error logs have also been fixed
